What Is Proposed?
Northern Trust Land intends to submit an outline planning application to Cheshire West and Chester Council for residential development at Land North of Liverpool Road.
The application will seek approval for up to 86 new homes.
The Development Framework Plan depicts how the Site could be laid out.
The key elements of the proposal are as follows:
2.6 ha of land developed for new homes, and 0.8 ha for open space, and landscaping
Up to 86 new homes to positively contribute towards meeting local housing need
At least 45% affordable homes, accessible to local people in need
A mix of housing tenures to suit different households
Layout centred on a green focal area, framed by a tree lined spine road, and with secondary streets emanating from the spine road
Retention of existing vegetation and ponds in the north west of the Site
Significant open areas, and a landscaped buffer to Liverpool Road
Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems in the form of an attenuation pond in the south western corner of the Site
Off-site contributions to children’s play facilities
